Thank you for supporting orphaned children by running for TFB

The first ever TFB 5k family fun run/walk for orphaned children was a fun run or walk that was open for participation by the whole family. The 5k (3 1/2 miles) distance was suitable for established runners, fun runners, joggers and those who would just like to walk - there was a good turn out with plenty of support from runners and spectators alike. Thank you to all who came along to make it a day to remember.

2011 5k Family Fun Run/Walk

The TBF 5k family fun run/walk for orphaned children will take place on 17th July 2011. It will be a fun run or walk that's open for participation by the whole family.

Teams are welcome; so why not gather your family, friends, neighbours, or colleagues together and make a real day of it.

Take up the challange - Every step you take will make a difference

This challenge is our biggest fundraising event to date, and we are looking for 200 amazing people to take up the challenge and raise £100,000 for our work supporting orphaned children.

We are inviting people of all fitness levels to sign up to help raise money for aids orphans and disadvantaged children worldwide. You are free to run, jog or walk the course, our emphasis is more on you having fun as you raise money for TFB.

The 5k (3 1/2 miles) distance is suitable for established runners, fun runners, joggers and those who would just like to walk - there will people of all fitness levels going at different paces so you won't be on your own whatever your fitness level

Why run for TFB?

The plight of aids orphans worldwide is very real and one that receives little support since many Governments and organisations concentrate on aid sufferers while neglecting the real victims – vulnerable children who are left destitute when the sufferer dies.

Without the work of TFB and other similar organizations, this issue will continue to be ignored with the possibility that millions of children will never get the start in life that they need.

Register

Participants pay the registration fee of £10, and then, help raise £250 sponsorship amongst their colleagues, friends and family (we have lots of fundraising tips to help you achieve this). There will be prizes for the top fundraisers of £500 and above.
